| CITAZIONE STARS turned out in their droves to pay tribute to STEPHEN GATELY at a concert in memory of the late BOYZONE singer last night.
His bandmates RONAN KEATING, MIKEY GRAHAM, KEITH DUFFY and SHANE LYNCH looked solemn as they arrived for the private evening of performances in London’s Palace Theatre.
Among the celebrities on the red carpet were pop stars DUNCAN JAMES and LEE RYAN from BLUE, CHESNEY HAWKES, the actor LESLIE PHILLIPS, Strictly Come Dancing judge BRUNO TONIOLI and CHERIE BLAIR.
Gately’s parents and partner ANDREW COWLES also attended.
The event was set to be compered by I’m A Celebrity star CHRISTOPHER BIGGINS with actor SIR IAN McKELLEN due to read poetry in tribute to the tragic singer.
Other performers paying tribute to Gately were singers LIZ McCLARNON and BEVERLEY KNIGHT while a string of stars including GRAHAM NORTON were scheduled to say few words in his memory.
The 33-year-old died of natural causes on October 10 at his holiday home on the island of Majorca.
